Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Before Shipping

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched — at no cost. To cancel, email care@tamecomb.com with your order number. Once cancellation is confirmed, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days.

2. Cancellation After Shipping

Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel or recall it. If the courier is unable to deliver and the package is returned to us, we will contact you and issue a refund (minus any applicable re-shipping costs) or offer to re-dispatch. Please do not refuse delivery unless directed by our team.

3. Damaged or Wrong Item Received

If your order arrives damaged in transit or contains an incorrect item, you must report it to us within 48 hours of delivery:

  1. Email care@tamecomb.com with your order number.
  2. Attach clear photographs of the damaged/wrong item and the outer packaging.

Upon verification, we will ship a free replacement or issue a full refund — your choice. Reports made after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible.

4. Defective Product

If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect (e.g., broken tooth, cracked wood), please report it within 7 days of delivery by emailing us with your order number and photographs. We will send a free replacement at no cost to you. We do not charge return shipping for verified defective items.

5. Hygiene Products — Non-Returnable

Combs and hair tools are personal hygiene products. Opened or used products cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene, unless they are demonstrably defective (see Section 4). We encourage you to inspect your comb immediately upon receipt and report any issues before use.

6. Refund Method & Timeline

  • Prepaid orders (UPI, cards, net banking) — refund to original payment method within 3–5 business days of approval.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders — refund via bank transfer (NEFT/UPI) to bank account details provided by you, within 5–7 business days of approval.

Refund processing time depends on your bank or payment provider and may occasionally take longer. If you have not received your refund after the stated window, contact us and we will investigate.
